About Craig M. de Thomas

Craig M. de Thomas has been working in the title insurance industry for over 22 years – starting out as a title examiner and paralegal in a real estate law firm before becoming an independent title examiner covering Ulster, Dutchess and Greene Counties for a number of title companies and title agencies.

In 2000, Mr. de Thomas relocated to New York City to oversee the title operations, reading, clearance and escrow duties for a boutique type agency focused on residential title transactions for attorney and banking customers. And, by 2006 he was Managing Director of a much larger agency focused on high volume residential and commercial transaction. Primarily it was his reaction against this fast paced, high risk, bottom line financially-focused approach to business that led Mr. de Thomas to establish Insignia and has provided the ethos that defines his company to it’s clients.

About Joann Prinzivalli

Joann Prinzivalli, Insignia National Title Agency’s Chief Counsel has previously served as Vice President and Chief Underwriting Counsel for Stewart Title Insurance Company and has over 30 years of title experience with underwriters and agents. She has also been of counsel to the real estate department at Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP, and at one time was General Counsel at Westchester Federal Savings Bank and chaired the law committee of the New York State Land Title Association.

She received her B.A. from Notre Dame College of Staten Island and her J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law in 1978, where she was editor of The Forum.

Joann’s industry knowledge and expertise places her among the top title industry counsel in New York State.

About Michael D. Ryan

Michael Ryan starting working in title insurance in early 2005 and has become familiar with all aspects of title work in preparation for his current Sales Management position at Insignia Title. Michael’s client-focused sales approach has gained him entry with some of the most prominent attorneys and largest firms in New York traditionally focused on condominium and commercial buildings.

Prior to working in title insurance, Michael was an assistant golf professional at the Ponce de Leon Country Club in Saint Augustine, FL. In 1998, Michael was hired on the staff of Mens Basketball for Florida State University where he stayed until 2003. He then worked for Montverde Academy, a successful high school program in Orlando, FL which produced 14 Division 1 college student-athletes as well as 2 NBA professionals.

Michael is a graduate from the college of business at the University of Kansas, and also has achieved a Masters degree in Education from Florida State University. As a member of the Board of the Directors and head coach for the Brooklyn Patriots Basketball Program, Michael is involved in shaping the lives of young men through his basketball experiences. He is also involved with the Florida State Alumni Association as the NYC Vice President and sits on the board for CMA (Community Mainstream Association) which helps Autistic Adults find jobs.
